DO YOU NEED ADMISSION INTO UNN THIS 2018/2019 SESSION? A Must Read I prepared this article in keeping with my promise to make regular updates here on this website as I deem necessary. I want to steal the opportunity to appeal to UNN aspirants to log on to this site each time they want to make an enquiry or to find out the latest news. Please bookmark this website and always check it instead of calling me on the phone. If the information you need is not yet here, then it's not yet available. Hope you got what I mean? Ok. My aim of preparing and publishing this article here is to make some salient points which I believe you need to take cognizance of in order to be adequately equipped for the UNN 2018/2019 post-UTME showdown. Having said that, let’s get down to the article. 1.) Going by statistics from previous years (JAMB is yet to release the official statistics for this year), UNN is normally about the fourth or fifth most-preferred Institution in Nigeria in JAMB UTME applications...

If you want to plant a very prosperous tree, get the seed of a very prosperous tree. The nursery bed on which you grow your dreams matters a lot. Be careful whom you associate with. Success and Failure are both contagious influences. A good seed planted on a bad soil will yield a poor harvest. Even nature teaches this. Your tallest finger is the middle one and also produces the fastest growing nail. Your shortest finger is the thumb and also produces the slowest growing finger nail. It's simple. You can't manifest results far better than your source. Be careful where you get your nourishment and sustenance from. It will determine your results in life and define your limits. A new admission year has started and to get the very best out of it, you may need to disconnect from people you have outgrown and cannot add any significant value to your life. It's time to proactively get into new associations with people who can propel your growth and inspire you to achieve your desire...

2018 Admissions: JAMB Announces Date for the Release of Cut-off Marks

Image
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has spoken on the purported cut-off marks being circulated in some section of the media. The board’s Head of Media and Information Department, Dr Fabian Benjamin debunked the report saying no cut-off mark whether for programmes or institutions had been released by JAMB. Benjamin announced that cut off marks would be disclosed sometime in June after policy meeting. He warned that any institution that begins admission process before the policy meeting would be acting illegally and that it would attract consequences. In a statement, Benjamin said “we want to seize this medium to debunk such rumours as they are malicious and wicked as they are designed to defraud innocent Nigerians, especially parents and guardians as well as other stakeholders. “No cut-off marks will ever be decided upon without the usual policy meeting which has been scheduled to hold sometime in June and which is to be chaired by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu ...

UTME 2018: JAMB explains why some candidates' results were removed from website

Image
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said the 2018 Unified Tertiary University Examinations (UTME) candidates who could no longer access their results might have had their results withheld. The Board’s Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. Some candidates have earlier cried foul following the removal of their released results from the website of the Board, after initially accessing it. The candidates complained that the site displayed, “You do not have any result yet” or “you did not write the examination,” after such results were earlier published. According to Mr. Benjamin, the board may reschedule the examinations for some whose cases are exceptional but some results may have been withheld. “Once you don’t see your result after a while it means it has been withheld. “However, there are exceptions and the board intends to reschedule the examinations for those who fall in that categor...

Now that 2018 JAMB Results have been Released, What Next? See What To Do...

The 2018 JAMB UTME has officially been concluded (though many candidates are yet to see their results). As would be expected, some candidates made very high scores while others made scores they are not too proud of. Whichever category you fall in, I want to quickly remind you that a high JAMB score is not an automatic ticket to higher institution just as a low JAMB score does not automatically disqualify you for admission. Read Also: List of 5 Best State Universities in Nigeria Over the years, we have seen candidates with high JAMB scores who failed to gain admission into any institution and had to retake JAMB, and we have equally seen candidates with low JAMB Scores (even less than 200) who gained admission without having to wait to write another JAMB. So basically, a low or high JAMB score is not the ultimate determinant of who gains and who doesn't gain admission. ADEQUATE PREPARATION…Your “Passport” to Unlimited Success in UNN Post-UTME Screening Examination - 2018/19

Image
ADEQUATE PREPARATION…Your “Passport” to Unlimited Success in UNN Post-UTME Screening Examination - 2018/19 -->King Fu-tzu Confucius once said, “Success depends on previous preparation and without such preparation, there is sure to be failure.” My interactions, in recent times, with candidates who are going to participate in the forthcoming UNN PUTME Aptitude Test show that many of them are sincerely wishing, hoping and praying for the best. Some of them had scaled through JAMB UTME in the past years but were stopped from actualizing their admission dreams because of poor performance in the screening examinations. Many of these candidates desire that 2018 will be the last year they would seek admission. Fortunately, they have scaled through the first hurdle (JAMB) and are hoping to go further to scale through the second hurdle which is the UNN post-UTME screening examinations. Find out the Reasons Why Candidates Lose Admission from JAMB Online Application to Post-UTME Examination. Th...

THE ROAD TO SUCCESS COMES THROUGH HARD WORK, DETERMINATION, AND PERSONAL SACRIFICE

Image
I would like to break this winning formula down into "easy to chew" bite-sized chunks. In doing so, we will look at four smaller nuggets of truth. The first nugget is: "THE ROAD TO SUCCESS," the second is: "HARD WORK," the third: "DETERMINATION," and the fourth nugget worthy of a closer look is: "PERSONAL SACRIFICE." For our conclusion, I will ask, "Who will answer this call?" Let us get started with the first nugget of truth, "THE ROAD TO SUCCESS." The road to success starts within a heart that wants to be the best at something--a heart, mind, and  soul that does not want to be ordinary, but extraordinary. Winners never look for the easy way out. They simply look at the impossible, and say to themselves to set their mind upon this lofty dream and chase after it with their whole heart. The road to success is narrow, and many will miss it because the road to failure is broad and easy. It is easy to fail. Do not work h...
