SOME VERY SALIENT POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT ADMISSIONS – 2018/2019

SOME VERY SALIENT POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT ADMISSIONS – 2018/2019 1. Unlike before that JAMB Change of Course/Institution lasts for only two weeks, now that JAMB has become a certified source of IGR for the federal government, the JAMB website is almost perpetually open for as long as the candidates bring the money and for as many times as they wish to change or correct anything. So JAMB Change of Course/Institution and correction of data is still ongoing. No closing date for now but I will advise those who are interested to do whatever change they want now and not keep procrastinating. I said because in the next few weeks, JAMB will effect the changes and forward the data to the various schools in preparation for POST-UTME.  2. You all need to understand that bloggers are after getting you to visit their blogs to get money out of your page view. So most of the information they post are fictitious. They just post what you want to hear to have you visiting their blog. JAMB not rele...

DO YOU NEED ADMISSION INTO UNN THIS 2018/2019 SESSION? A Must Read I prepared this article in keeping with my promise to make regular updates here on this website as I deem necessary. I want to steal the opportunity to appeal to UNN aspirants to log on to this site each time they want to make an enquiry or to find out the latest news. Please bookmark this website and always check it instead of calling me on the phone. If the information you need is not yet here, then it's not yet available. Hope you got what I mean? Ok. My aim of preparing and publishing this article here is to make some salient points which I believe you need to take cognizance of in order to be adequately equipped for the UNN 2018/2019 post-UTME showdown. Having said that, let’s get down to the article. 1.) Going by statistics from previous years (JAMB is yet to release the official statistics for this year), UNN is normally about the fourth or fifth most-preferred Institution in Nigeria in JAMB UTME applications...

If you want to plant a very prosperous tree, get the seed of a very prosperous tree. The nursery bed on which you grow your dreams matters a lot. Be careful whom you associate with. Success and Failure are both contagious influences. A good seed planted on a bad soil will yield a poor harvest. Even nature teaches this. Your tallest finger is the middle one and also produces the fastest growing nail. Your shortest finger is the thumb and also produces the slowest growing finger nail. It's simple. You can't manifest results far better than your source. Be careful where you get your nourishment and sustenance from. It will determine your results in life and define your limits. A new admission year has started and to get the very best out of it, you may need to disconnect from people you have outgrown and cannot add any significant value to your life. It's time to proactively get into new associations with people who can propel your growth and inspire you to achieve your desire...

2018 Admissions: JAMB Announces Date for the Release of Cut-off Marks

Image
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has spoken on the purported cut-off marks being circulated in some section of the media. The board’s Head of Media and Information Department, Dr Fabian Benjamin debunked the report saying no cut-off mark whether for programmes or institutions had been released by JAMB. Benjamin announced that cut off marks would be disclosed sometime in June after policy meeting. He warned that any institution that begins admission process before the policy meeting would be acting illegally and that it would attract consequences. In a statement, Benjamin said “we want to seize this medium to debunk such rumours as they are malicious and wicked as they are designed to defraud innocent Nigerians, especially parents and guardians as well as other stakeholders. “No cut-off marks will ever be decided upon without the usual policy meeting which has been scheduled to hold sometime in June and which is to be chaired by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu ...

UTME 2018: JAMB explains why some candidates' results were removed from website

Image
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said the 2018 Unified Tertiary University Examinations (UTME) candidates who could no longer access their results might have had their results withheld. The Board’s Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. Some candidates have earlier cried foul following the removal of their released results from the website of the Board, after initially accessing it. The candidates complained that the site displayed, “You do not have any result yet” or “you did not write the examination,” after such results were earlier published. According to Mr. Benjamin, the board may reschedule the examinations for some whose cases are exceptional but some results may have been withheld. “Once you don’t see your result after a while it means it has been withheld. “However, there are exceptions and the board intends to reschedule the examinations for those who fall in that categor...
